You Lair!
As you may have noticed, the first blog of 2014 from TNN seems to have taken a turn. I'm not sure how he got a hold of my blog but an actual ninja seems to have turned in it into his own ridiculous mind numbing blog. I will try to track him down and confront him about this but I have been told that indirect direct confrontation is the best way to handle things. Come to think of it...that makes no sense at all. Maybe I should just go eat some nachos and watch a marathon of The Big Bang Theory instead of doing something about the condition of the world and suckiness that occasionally consumes my life? Nah. That's why to much work and I'm fat and lazy and my feet hurt. I digress. I will continue to strive to provide the best and most NON NINJA related posts I can but until I have been successful I cannot be held responsible for this blog. Puppies still suck.
Dilbert In Real Life
Part 1 - The Cubeville Conundrum
TNN reporting in from Cubeville, Corporate America where I have been silently watching several key targets over the last several months (hence my long absence from the blogging world). Let me tell you, I have never been happier for my ninja training and lifestyle which allows me exist outside of what society calls "the norm". I'm sitting here now listening to droning voices of people trying to seem like they are important, which is determined by how loud they talk over the next person. My findings have discovered this to be both annoying and counter productive for the people around them. On the surface the people seem somewhat happy but it seems as though it's up to a select few people to keep it this way which weights heavily on their shoulders. There is a shocking general lack of accountability that permeates all but the most stalwart of this Cubeville which I found to be quite dis-heartening. Considering that this Cubeville handles millions upon millions of customers business it seems to only be a matter of time before this explodes. Only the weak are provided help while the strong are left to suffer doing the majority of the work with absolutely no help offered by the leaders of this specific cube. This is a mystery to me as in my world, the weak are eliminated (usually quite brutally with a ninja punch to the throat, ninja star to the upper esophagus, ninja sword through the Adam's Apple or some super secret ninja death force that unfortunately I cannot discuss with you non ninjas). The strong usually leave this cube broken and disheartened as the promises and ideals of wealth, better hours, better opportunities, etc. are causally thrown around as if the were kittens baiting pythons, only to be yanked away just as they seems to be within reach. My main mark (let's call him Mark) has been particularly enlightening to watch. Mark has struggled mighty to find his place in this cube and had thought he had been doing all the required things to make himself standout and show he was ready for more. He could not have been more wrong it would seem as opportunity after opportunity was either given to others or simply not offered to him. I watch Mark one evening through the air ducts and listened to him give a impassioned speech to his co-cube mates about how, while admittedly the current conditions in this cube were atrocious things would get better. They had to. Things couldn't seem to get any worse.

Part 2 - A New Hope?
There has been a remarkable improvement in this Cubeville over the last couple weeks in regards to morale. Just when the the strong members of the cube were thinking about packing it in (to pursue the ninja lifestyle perhaps?) some news was discovered that potentially could save this cube from destroying itself. The major source of the complacency and mediocrity that had been allowed to fester and grow in this cube is being removed. The strong within the cube rejoice while the weak immediately being trying to speak louder than everyone so the new leader of this cube takes notice of them and tried to beguile them into thinking they are of value to the cube. Only time will tell if the new leader will be able to separate the strong from the weak. Until next time my ninja hopefuls...
